今でも胸がつまるような、そんな時代の女性を描きました。

She couldn’t quite look straight ahead.
Each day felt uncertain and a little frightening.
Even so, she kept moving forward,
step by step, quietly and bravely.

I painted her as a reflection of those days of mine—
when my chest felt tight with worry,
yet I still found the strength to keep going.
