Sometimes,
a breeze or the smell of the air
brings something back to me.

Before a memory takes shape,
the sensation returns first.

In that moment,
it feels as if the person I was then comes back.
But I am no longer the same person,
and perhaps that is why the sensation feels so clear.

Only after some distance from that time
does this feeling become something I can grasp.

That is the image behind this work.
